What we've been up to lately

We went to some cool places in the summer
Jimmer loves going to the park right next to us
He loves watching Elmo, Toy Story, and Wizard of Oz
It's now a tradition of ours and Em's family to go to the farm south of Santequin to pick out pumpkins
We had a lot of fun tailgating this year before the home football games with Colby, Jamie, Dallas, and their friends
This is our fourth picture on our anniversary in front of our Temple.
Jimmer likes doing the ET thing where you touch fingers and say "Ouch."
Pumpkin carving time
We did a lot of drives and hikes to go out and enjoy the Fall colors
For pretty much every FHE in the summer and fall we would go to the Temple and have our lesson there. Jimmy still isn't the best at communicating...for him, Temple, ball, moon, bottle, bubbles, and cold ("burr") are all "ball."
I'll give the kid a few years before he's in charge of raking all the leaves and mowing the lawn by himself.
We enjoyed going to see the Temple Square and Riverwoods lights
Just at a restaurant
So Jimmer LOVES Obama...er, I mean he loves this video of a guy wearing an Obama mask and dancing all over the country. You can youtube, "Obama Works It" to watch the video. Anyway we finally took Jimmer in to get a haircut. He didn't like it so much and unfortunately watching the video didn't really help at all.
Poor Jimmer was for awhile before and on Christmas
We had fun going to Provo Beach Resort and playing skee-ball with Em's family over the Christmas break
Here's what baby #2 looks like!

A week and a half late...

Kasey and I celebrated our 3RD wedding anniversary on Tuesday, October 18th! 3. Whole. Years! I can't believe it... which means Kasey and I have known each other for 5 years! We met when I was 19 years old! My brother and I moved into my dad's ward in Fall of 2006! Kasey and I first met each other after I think a scavenger hunt, and our ward was all chatting in the parking lot east of the duck pond. I remember that he came up to me and told me about a drinking fountain date that he had just been on and he told me which one was the best. I remember thinking that he seemed like someone who we be really FUN to get to know! Fast forward a year and a half later. I saw him on campus for the first time in a really long time. We, unfortunately, were both on our cell phones, and I remember feeling so disappointed because we just said hello to each other and then just kept on walking to our destinations. Fortunately, we were in the same ward again and we went on our epic second "first date" shortly after that encounter. It was wonderful and we started dating soon after.

I thank 20 year old me on how smart I was to date him and my 21 year old self for marrying Kasey. He is so kind, sweet, patient, humble, honest, and hardworking. Kasey sent me a link a couple weeks ago of a married couple of 72 years who died holding hands. His caption underneath the article was "you and me someday". :)

I'm so grateful that I'm married to the man of my dreams. Happy (late) Anniversary, Kasey! I love you!
