Kasey and I celebrated our 3RD wedding anniversary on Tuesday, October 18th! 3. Whole. Years! I can't believe it... which means Kasey and I have known each other for 5 years! We met when I was 19 years old! My brother and I moved into my dad's ward in Fall of 2006! Kasey and I first met each other after I think a scavenger hunt, and our ward was all chatting in the parking lot east of the duck pond. I remember that he came up to me and told me about a drinking fountain date that he had just been on and he told me which one was the best. I remember thinking that he seemed like someone who we be really FUN to get to know! Fast forward a year and a half later. I saw him on campus for the first time in a really long time. We, unfortunately, were both on our cell phones, and I remember feeling so disappointed because we just said hello to each other and then just kept on walking to our destinations. Fortunately, we were in the same ward again and we went on our epic second "first date" shortly after that encounter. It was wonderful and we started dating soon after.
I thank 20 year old me on how smart I was to date him and my 21 year old self for marrying Kasey. He is so kind, sweet, patient, humble, honest, and hardworking. Kasey sent me a link a couple weeks ago of a married couple of 72 years who died holding hands. His caption underneath the article was "you and me someday". :)
I'm so grateful that I'm married to the man of my dreams. Happy (late) Anniversary, Kasey! I love you!

Oh, the Places You’ll Go!
Well, I must ask, where did my little baby go? This little guy is mobile, and has been so much fun! He has finally and permanently mastered the art of rolling around, and let me tell you, he really has a lot of fun with it. In the amount of time it took me to put food in the oven, Jimmer managed this:In the time it took me to get a drink of water, Jimmer did this:
Cords, magazines, plants, look out! This little guy WILL find you….
I guess now I’ll have to re-think the term baby-proof.
In other news, this past weekend we drove through Sundance to try and enjoy the fall foliage. It was beautiful and it really makes me appreciate Utah. The mountains, the leaves, the wind, Pines, Aspens, and of course enjoying our little family was a perfect Saturday afternoon activity.
Unfortunately, Fall means Winter is just around the corner. Don't worry, though, we're ready for it!
